Don’t You Think Naruto Characters Have weird Names?

I sometimes think they have really weird names…like Itachi means weasel, Naruto means one of those toppings in ramen, I can understand a name like Sasuke (ninja warrior) but shouldn’t Itachi be named that instead of weasel o-0;

Some of the characters do have interesting names, but a lot of the names actually make sense! But I do agree with you, I mean Iruka’s name means Dolphin and I have no clue how that relates to him in any way, and the combination of InoShikaCho is a combination of cards from an old card game that I’ve never heard of. But I mean Sakura’s name makes sense considering it means cherry blossom along with Kurenai’s which means a deep red. Heres a list of the names and their meanings if you want them, but yeah a lot of them make no sense what so ever!
