Ramen Maruchan Nutrition

carbs and sodium before running, ramen noodles good or bad?

I have read in the past that carbs are good to eat about 2 hours before a run a long with three or four cups of water. I did a little bit of googling and have read about some benefits of sodium too so I was wondering, would Ramen noodles be a good choice to eat before a run? It’s light on the stomach, high in carbs and a decent ammount of sodium.

Here is the nutrition facts of the one I have

Answers, comments? Thanks

PS – I’m only running 1 mile, but doing 10 min of jump rope and 20 min of punching bag, but overall not a HARD workout, taking my time and keeping a cool pace as I get back into running reguarly

THANKS!

ramen noodle is bad because it has a high concentration of sodium. Sodium = makes you thirsty. And since you exercise, it’ll dehydrate you. Dehyrdration = bad for muscles and cramping can occur.

p,s, running/jogging is for people who can’t fight. get a real hobby fatass.
